In January the Obama family will be moving into a new Washington DC home. The leased home they have selected is incredibly impressive and the perfect place to end his amazing run as President.
The President and his wife insisted on staying in the Capital until their youngest daughter, Sasha, graduates high school.
The nine bedroom, eight and a half bathroom DC home is located in the Kalorama neighborhood and was sold in 2014 for a monstrous $5,295,000.00. The Obamas will be leasing the 8,200 square foot home from Joe Lockhart, the new Vice President of Communications for the NFL.
With an over five million dollar selling price we can only imagine what the lease will be for the Obamas, but remember, finding a home to rent comes with a lot of baggage for the First Family. Not only are they deciding to stay in one of the most expensive cities on the East Coast but the home and the owners have to pass a barrage of security protocol for the home to even be considered.
The house is quaintly located on a quarter of an acre and awards the Obamas privacy and comfort in the center of a bustling city. Let’s take a look at this beautiful home by sections:

This home is absolutely gorgeous and we hope that the Obamas are happy and comfortable in their new home even though we will miss them terribly!
