If you were wondering who exactly is to blame for the fact that President Trump is a sexist pig who hates strong women, rest assured that his minions–both paid and unpaid–will never ever accuse their savior of being a misogynistic asshat who is fond of demeaning women in the most disgusting ways imaginable.
Case in point would be senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, who appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America Friday and began by saying the president has every right to respond when members of the media say something about him he doesn’t like:
“The toxicity both ways… uh, coming to the president is terrible.”
And then, as if reading from a script, Conway tried to blame the entire situation between Trump and MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski on the media:
“The idea that the media, large parts of the media anyway, are covering personal insults about the president, this invective, and really denying America’s women their rightful knowledge of what he’s doing for them on taxes, on health care, and infrastructure.”
Maybe that has something to do with the fact that the president’s plans on taxes, healthcare, and infrastructure are either detrimental to millions, only benefit the richest Americans, or are nothing more than an attempt to privatize every road and bridge in this country so that tolls can be charged to use them.
To that, host George Stephanopoulos reminded Conway that the press wouldn’t be focusing on insulting tweets had the president not posted them on Twitter for the world to see. As for the tax reform plan, Stephanopoulos noted that the Trump administration has not actually presented an actual plan, just a one page bullet-pointed highlight of how the want to give massive tax cuts to the richest one percent of Americans.
If it’s all the media’s fault, why doesn’t Trump stay off Twitter, refuse to grant interviews, and not send any of his spokespeople out to appear on cable news? Don’t like the message, then refuse to participate.
Or better yet, stop whining and just freaking resign, you pathetic, juvenile sack of shit.
